Wikipedia: “The law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system remains constant; it is said to be conserved over time. In the case of a closed system, the principle says that the total amount of energy within the system can only be changed through energy entering or leaving the system. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another.“
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed.
These raw abstractions seek to reveal the true nature of energy. Shadows build into one another, colors ebb and flow, edges are defined and through the interrogation of space and time, the ever-changing shapes of energy are revealed.
Some have said that these shapes feel as though they are living creatures. If they were living what would the microbes and germs that coat their inner and outer workings look like? Complementarity in this case would be the idea that the simple may explain the complex and conversely that the complex may explain the simple. Much like our cells mirror our homes and bedrooms with walls all around and a variety of things inside, the following drawings are meant to mirror the above shapes as the potential cells or atoms that make up this revealed realm.
